Please note we do allow close support systems that you trust, welcome to kick it and enjoy the process. That said, we reserve the video for artists/producers specifically so no groupies/kids/brothers or uncles... If they got rapper drip they get a pass. Dogs get a pass. Beside the limitations of who can be included in the video, visual spectacles/concepts/props are welcome but no naked blow up dolls or toy/nurf guns . The Cypher Society Mission Statement aka "what we stand for" Bring people together through Hip-Hop music, uplifting artists in the process and above all else - celebrating the craft EST 2023 - strong emphasis on lyricism and the ceremonial side / "craft" pillar over time the unifying aspect and artist empowerment piece continue tip the balance beam. That is met with embrace and open mindedness without losing sight of the original vision... to create a place where the standards for bars only go up. Always cool with intentional creative expression beyond the bars. On the flip, every artist should be aware of what specific things will tank the engagement, hurt the page and significantly limit the the artists. Aside from those few things (nudity, guns, drugs/alcohol/intense violence) or whatever other shit would contradict the mission statement, we've seen concepts elevate the appeal and draw attention to the bars, drastic swing at times from something as simple as exchanging bars with your fellow MC. Lastly, again with love & respect to everybody/ the video itself as in anything captured-on-camera during the cypher performance for official releases/final product is not for +1's or supporters/spectators. But we appreciate them embracing your craft. Occasionally you as the artist might have a specific request for someone to be in your shot just let us know thats most likely all good Shout out to #TTE for collaborative efforts to get us out there.
